Welcome to the historical website of the Applied Mathematics Unit

Following a proposal of the SMA researchers (see the Minutes of June 19, 2007 in French), the authorities of the UL have decided to dissolve the SMA research unit at the end of 2007.

Raymond Bisdorff and Patrick Meyer have joined the ILIAS laboratory at the Computer Science and Communication UR of the Faculty of Science, Technology and Communication in October 2007.

Jean-Luc Marichal and Miguel Couceiro (post-doc) have joined the Mathematics Laboratory of the Faculty of Science, Technology and Communication in January 2008.

Jang Schiltz, for his part, joined the research unit in finance of the Faculty of Law, Economics, and Finance.
